Ritual

The 48-hour film festival demands everything from a crew in a single weekend, and Ritual pushed us to our limits. Tasked with the "race against time" genre, we crafted a suspenseful thriller that blends mystery with artful visual storytelling. From the opening frame, we wanted audiences unsettled—every shot carefully composed to build tension without revealing our hand too early. Working with a tight-knit team under extreme time pressure, we made bold creative choices that paid off: taking out first place overall at the Wellington competition, then securing Best Sound Design at the National Grand Finals. This project proved our ability to deliver cinematic, layered storytelling even when the clock is working against us.
